Morning Light + Mr. Horsey

While walking to work the other day I could not help but stop and take some pictures of a horse with the sun shining bright on his hair. The morning light always gets me. I need to go out on 'photowalks' at eight in the morning sometime...hmm...maybe tomorrow. It'll give me inspiration to get up! [smile] I'm off for a weekend of work (and being a cowgirl). Be blessed!

Then Let Us Know

Then let us know,
Let us press on to know the Lord
His going forth
Is as certain as the dawn.
And He will come,
He will come to us like the rain
Like the spring rain
Watering the earth

Two Cowgirls

I work at a little restaurant that our friends opened at the beginning of the summer. It's called 'The Wagon Trail'. The theme of the place is old west. One day my friend and I decided to dress as cowgirls for work. It was such fun...I think we'll be doing it again soon. And you may be seeing some food up here sometime too. [smile]

Michigan | Part 1

Hello friends and strangers. If you're new here, grab a cup of coffee (or tea, if you prefer) and stay a while. Here's some pictures from my last trip up to MI in July. I went with a dear church friend and her two granddaughters, and we stayed at my great Aunt and Uncle's home on Torch Lake. It was so beautiful; I think I could live there. Actually, I came home and told my parents about 40 acres I saw for sale. Let's just say they weren't interested. Oh, well....maybe someday. :) Enjoy the pictures, and don't forget to introduce yourself or just say hello in the comments.

I am a cloud girl. It was hard to stay on track and keep focused with the road. And yes, I think I took this picture while driving. But it was the only one, I promise!

I loved this farm, the lighting, the sky...everything about it. I was glad I wasn't driving when we went past. :)

Annnddd after a LONG day on the road, we have arrived. It was worth it.
The lake.

It's become a tradition to write my name in the sand whenever we are where there is sand. (which is not very often.)

Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth. -Psalm 96:6

Come back again for part two (some more water, cute animals, and maybe some adorable kids.)
