Spring Family Vacation | Big South Fork | Picture Overload

Hello dear bloggy friends. :) Last month, (Yes I know...this was almost two months ago! Talk about the need to catch up on some blogging...)Anyways, last month my Aunt and Uncle from WA state were down to visit! We went to three different Parks and stayed at one of the parks during the three days. So we had kind of a 'mini vacation'. Well, since this is a picture overload, I won't make it a word overload....the pictures always tell the story way better.

Our first stop was, Big South Fork; Blue Heron trail.

Along the way, we saw lots of pretty flowers...

On the trail....I decided to go barefoot, and well, lets just say, that wasn't the greatest idea I've least half the trail had holly leaves. Ouch!

Cumberland Trip 028
Just thought this picture was kinda cool looking...

Cumberland Trip 046
I know you've seen this before, but Narnia anyone?! I love Narnia...kinda wish we really could go there...

Cumberland Trip 058
More Narnia looks. Come on! Does it not look like it?!

Taking pictures to remember fun times...

Thank you soooo much Uncle Jim and Aunt Linda, for the time and cabin and your company. :) It was thoroughly enjoyed.

You've seen this one before too, but I just had to post it again.

Wow! Momma looks so small against the big rocks!

Cumberland Trip 144
The rocks were really cool though!

Cumberland Trip 149
I felt like a migit in this picture. :) Which is a pretty rare feeling for me, since I am 5'8 1/2"

Cumberland Trip 166
Big South Fork used to have a coal mine and a railway used to haul the coal. I'm pretty sure this is part of the actual railway.

Posing on one of the trains...

We also went to the Big South Fork River...

Sisters = Friends for EVER!

Cumberland Trip 296
Once again, I can't claim a really artistic shot! My little sis snapped this one....

Cumberland Trip 301
We saw about 20 butterflies clumped together; they were sucking sap out of a tiny root.

Spending some time with Auntie :)

Cumberland Trip 382
Ok, this is from where we stayed over the three days. But it was the first night. We saw some people playing music in one room and then walked to the next room and saw more people playing. So we asked what was going on and they said that anybody can come play with them two nights a month! Well, we just happened to have our instruments along and that led to an evening of fun!

I'll leave you laughing at this funny, but very true bumper sticker we saw.
Till next time,

Got Milk?

A few weeks ago my Grandpa requested some pictures of my sister (11 years old) milking the cow.
I thought this was super cute....all three of them were running into the barn. :)

Scavenger Hunt Sunday

Come one, Come all! Welcome to Sveta's little corner in the blog world. [smile] I loved the Scavenger Hunt Sunday that I did a few weeks back so much that I had to do it again today. :) {If you can't tell, I like to make people smile. So if you're not smiling by the end of this post, let me know what I can do to make you smile}

1. Emotion

Don't you just l-o-v-e that look?!

2. From a Flower's Point of View

I took this picture from "flower level" right next to our flower garden. :) I thought it was kinda cool...

3. Natural Frame
Cumberland Trip 024
I thought for sure that I had a natural frame picture, but I probably went through ten folders before I found this one, and I thought is was a "different" perspective of a natural frame, so I'm using it.

4.  Letters

Once again, I was searching for a letter picture, and I finally found this sister drew this picture at the Homeschool Convention. Isn't she a great artist? :)

Mother Teresa {Life}

Hi there! I'm back! (stating the obvious there, I mean, who else would it be?!) I've had a nice little break, but I've also missed you all. :) I am back, but I won't be posting as much. My life is very busy right now, and it doesn't allow much time for blogging. :( But, I will make sure it lets me get a little time to share what's happening with you.

I wrote a research report on Mother Teresa last week and found a quote from her that I really liked, so I thought I'd share it with you. Enjoy and I'll be back in a few days. [smile]
