Sunday Afternoon Hiking

Last Sunday our family, my Aunt's family and another family we are good friends with went hiking at a Natural Arch. Twas tons of fun hanging out with friends and hiking 5 miles. The most I've done in a while. :) The fall colors are gorgous right now, but are not going to last long. Some leaves are falling before they turn int to pretty colors. aka they are turning brown way to early this year. :( Oh, well. I'm going to enjoy the beauty of fall while it is here and hope to survive the ugly brown winters we get. lol Here is 30 pictures to tell you the story..or maybe show you some pretty scenery!!??
The law of the LORD is perfect,
reviving the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The precepts of the LORD are right,

giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the LORD are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is pure,
enduring forever.
The ordinances of the LORD are sure
and altogether righteous.
They are more precious than gold,
than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey,
than honey from the comb.
May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Psalm 19:7-11;14

Jesus said, "I am the way, the light and the truth."
On our way, we found this rock/cave thing that we could climb in.
The little girls found a cubby hole just for them. :)
Looking out from the rock cave thing. I though it looked cool.
While waiting for others for a few minutes, I saw this next to me. So I took a picture of it and now I am sharing it with you. :) Don't you think it looks cool. :)
Yep, we're still on the right track.

(Yes, I added the writing, but it is just too funny...there were signs up like this...I have never seen a bear near where I live)
I <3 this picture! I don't know what it reminds me of...something fron a different country or maybe I saw something like this in a movie. I dunno
 Hmmm, wonder what they found.
My awesome friend (right) and I
We are arrows for God. Preparing to be shot into enemy's taritory someday.
Talking...did plenty of that on Sunday. :)
Flooded? No problem, just walk on the side of the bridge.
Who, in their right mind, would turn around after hiking 4 of the 5 miles just becase they came apon a [flooded] bridge with 4 inches of water?!
[For once] we are all together. Usually most of the kids would be really far ahead, my friend and I in the middle and the adults reall far behind everyone. Somehow everyone was togeth for a little bit.
 Me, myself, and I
Under the arch. It was reall interesting
My Dad and four of the boys climbed to the top of the arch. I attempted, but when we were almost there, we had to shimmy up a crack. And that didn't look like to much fun to come down, so I stopped.

"He leadeth me in the paths of rightousness..."
Can I say it again?!! Art~I just can't stop seeing it around me!
Ok, I won't say ___ again. lol Instead I'll say: Macro Photography is sooo much fun!
Ummm....S. I wouldn't be walking on that if I was you.
I love the bokeh in this one!
I hope you have a lovely rest of a week.
